Ladies Club of Mokokchung, on Friday, organised a “Flower Sales Day (13th & 14th April 2018)”, at Mokokchung Municipal Complex with Mokokchung Town Baptist Church.
According to the president of Ladies Club of Mokokchung, I. Narola, the sole purpose of the ‘Flower Sales Day’, was to facilitate and promote entrepreneurship of flower growers and flower lovers in the town.
Ladies Club of Mokokchung was established on the May 14, 1982 under the presidentship of Alemla Imchen, wife of the Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung, T P Imchen, under the motto – ‘Service before self’. The Club is also a registered society under the Registrar of Societies Government of Nagaland.
Since its formation, the Club has been have been rendering exemplary services in social, religious, educational, hospitality, economic, enviromental, political, etc. fields
Associate Pastor Rev. Chuba delivered the inaugural prayer for the ‘Sales day.’
