Landslide on NH-39

Hundreds of vehicles were stranded due to a landslide below KMC dumping area, some 15 kms away from Kohima, on NH-39, sources said.
Vehicles from both ends of the highway were stranded since Thursday morning and some passengers coming from Dimapur were seen walking on foot from the landslide area to Kohima town.
Among them were Nagaland Police Junior team and Kuki Youth Club taking part in the ongoing Youth Soccer Championship at Kohima.
