Landslides cut-off Nsong area

Nsong area under Tening sub-division, Peren has been reportedly cut off from the rest of state due to landslides at various locations. In a press release, Nsong Kebai Public Organisation (NKPO) president Zekui Disuang said three major landslides have occurred between Meguiki River and Nsong Town, four landslides between Ngam and Lalong and two landslides between Lalong and Njauna village. NKPO has urge the PWD authority to clear the landslides at the earliest, as it was the lifeline of Nsong area and the adjoining Leikie border in Assam. Further, the NKPO urged the responsible department to repair the Meguiki Bridge, which has been damaged.
