LASI research team to visit Mokokchung district

The Social Researchers of LASI (Longitudinal Ageing Study in India) will be visiting Mokokchung district in implementation of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), GoI selecting Chantongya and Tuli blocks for its project. 
A press release by LASI Nagaland project manager/research, Surenthung Enny stated that Mokokchung district has ten Secondary Sampling Units (SSUs) unlike other districts which have 5 Secondary Sampling Unitss. In this study every household (sample) is very importance and if the household or Secondary Sampling Units gets rejected, the data of Nagaland will be greatly affected as only 6 districts and 40 Secondary Sampling Units and 1200 households are representing the whole of Nagaland.
In this regard, the release has requested the concerned village council members, selected households and community to cooperate with the Longitudinal Ageing Study in India officials led by Prof. L. Latusingh, director  International Institute of Population Science (IIPS) accompanied by Zabenthung Enny.
