Latex manufacturing unit inaugurated in Wokha

A Latext Manufacturing Unit for self employment was inaugurated in Wokha town by land resources development (LRD) director Yisamo Jungio Lotha on November 20, 2014.
Speaking at the inaugural programme, LRD director Lotha lauded the proprietor for taking up such unit as an income generating scheme in the district.
Since there was no possibility for every educated youth to be a government employee, he encouraged prospective unemployed youth to take up such activities for self sustenance.
He also assured to help them with available provision schemes from the department.
Also, speaking at the programme, deputy commissioner (DC) Wokha, A.Robin Tsopoe Lotha expressed gratitude to the proprietor for taking up such venture. DC urged the youngsters to avail opportunity in self employment scheme provided by the government.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by land resources, Wokha DPO Tepunol Yore and Rev. Sulumo Ezung offered invocation prayer. A brief introductory of the unit was appraised by the
proprietor.
