Commemorating its 25th anniversary, Lotha Academy Wokha (LAW) Nagaland released the first edition of its Lotha Yishüp (dictionary) on November 6.
A press release by LAW Nagaland stated that the Yishüp was released by president of the Lotha Academy, Fr. Abraham Lotha, and chairman of the Lotha Literature Committee, L. T Tsanglao. It was dedicated by secretary Mission and Evangelism, Lotha Baptist Churches Association, Rev. Dr. L. L Kikon.
In his speech, Fr. Abraham stated that the edition was an effort to standardize spelling patterns for further development of the Lotha language.
LAW Nagaland has also asked interested individuals to log onto the academy web site www.lothaacademy.com for any queries, or feedback.
In case of any inadvertent errors, omissions or additions etc. the academy will rectify/examine them and update these in the second edition.
