DIMAPUR: Liangmai Baptist Association (LBA) Men Department held a Bible study cum board meeting on August 3 and 4, 2026 at Jubilee Memorial Hall, Mission Centre, Tening Town under the theme “What is that in your hand” (Exodus 4:2), with Apfukru Dolie, Missions Director, Angami Baptist Church Council (ABCC) as the resource person.
In his message, Dolie imparted biblical knowledge citing the example of Moses, emphasising that God uses simple things already in our possession to demonstrate His power. He noted that Moses’ staff was an ordinary walking stick, yet God used it to perform mighty miracles and lead the Israelites out of Egypt. He encouraged the Men Department to consecrate themselves to God, assuring that their gifts could be transformed into powerful tools for ministry.
Altogether 72 members representing different churches under LBA across Nagaland participated in the first Men Department Bible study cum board meeting. The gathering resolved to form an official body and unanimously entrusted three members as the founding committee. The meeting also finalised plans to organise a Couples Seminar, range wise discipleship training for fathers, and a Men’s Camp in 2026.
Rev. N.K. Joseph, secretary, Men Department LBA, called upon fathers to work harder in their churches as “God’s army men” to equip and gather the lost in God’s field, urging them to initiate more activities in their respective congregations.
