
The Lozaphuhü Baptist Church (LBC) celebrated 75 years of Christianity on the theme “Proclaim His Glorious Deeds” on December 18 and 19.
A press release from the Lozaphuhü Baptist Church informed that while speaking on the theme, CBCC executive secretary, Rev. Khrotso Mero spoke on the theme where he emphasised on the zealous and persistent attitude of the pioneers in proclaiming the Good News amongst the Chakhesang people despite untold hardships and persecution.
Meanwhile, NBCC general secretary, Rev. Dr. Zelhou Keyho spoke on the topic, “The Harvest is Plenteous”, where he reiterated the fact that there were still many countries with very less Christian percentage.
This, Dr. Zelhou said, was indicative even within the country and neighbouring Asian countries.
In this regard, he said that the Harvest was plenteous and there was “still a great need to preach the Gospel to the unbelievers”.
During the inaugural service, Rev. Khrotso Mero unveiled the anniversary monolith, prayer of blessings was said by home evangelist and retired pastor, LBC, Thoputso Rhakho while CYE Chizami Baptist Church presented a special praise. The celebration was graced by neighbouring Churches and villages, pastors and leaders under CBCC and well-wishers.
