Three- day, 73th general conference of Lotha Baptist Churches (LBC) women department was held from October 20 to 22. The conference was hosted by Lotha Baptist Church Dimapur (LBCD) women department and held under the theme, “ Women: God’s agent of Peace” (Mathew 5:9) at Christian Higher Secondary School (CHSS) Dimapur.
Speakers of the conference were Lotha Baptist Church Dimapur (LBCD) pastor Rev. Zanao Mozhui, Kohima Lotha Baptist Church (KLBC) Nyanchumi Kithan, Wokha Town Baptist Church (WTBC) associate pastor Zurenthung Humtsoe and LBCD associate pastor Meripeni Lotha.
Over 1700 women folk from 87 churches excluding the host church attended the conference. At the commencing day of the conference new office bearers were inducted for two years. The team will be led by J Ovung, Diphupar as president, Sungsabeni Jamio, Dimapur as vice president, Zuchobeni Yanthan, Wokha as general secretary and Nyanbeni Erui, Baghty as assistant general secretary. The 2026 LBC women department general conference will be hosted by Sungro range.
