LBCA holds ‘ordainedminister conference 2025’

The two-day, Lotha Baptist Churches Association (LBCA) ordained ministers conference came to an end on March 9, 2025 at Liphi Lotha Baptist Church.

The conference was held on the topic: “We are called to bear fruit” from John 15, and the speakers were Rev. Ezanbemo Odyuo, pastor Lakhuti Baptist Church; Rev. Dr. Ezamo Murry, ex-principal, ETC and Rev. Dr. K. Benry Lotha, pastor, Kohima Lotha Baptist Church.

On March 8, Rev. Dr. Nzan Odyuo reminded the delegates to know the meaning of the cassock they were wearing – as it was “the garment of holiness, for honour and glory” from Exodus 28: 1-4, and Rev. Dr. L. L. Kikon president of LBCA encouraged the gathering to preserve the mother tongue, and to support the work of reconciliation within LBCA.

The house resolved to give unflinching support to the ongoing reconciliation process initiated by the Lotha Pastors Conference and resolved by the LBCA delegates during annual general conference of LBCA 2024.

Meanwhile, LBCA president thanked the outgoing chairman Rev. R.P. Murry and prayed for God’s blessings over the new incumbent chairman Rev. N. Longshi Lotha, and the team for God’s guidance. The incumbent chairman thanked the Liphi Lotha Baptist Church, the Pastoral team, the Deacons board, and the Church members for hosting the event.
