Lotha Baptist Church Association (LBCA) organised HIV & AIDS awareness seminar on July 1 at LBCA mission centre church, Vankhosung, Wokha.
During the programme, the association resolved that Church should initiate social ministry and that funds should be made available from the Church each year for awareness camps to be conducted in all local Churches from time to time.
At the seminar programme topics on basic of HIV & AIDS, prevention of parents to child transmission, targeted intervention project, biblical perspective on HIV & AIDS, HIV & AIDS positive personal testimony were discussed.
Resource persons of the programme were DPO DAPCU, Wokha Lichumo Odyuo, Moa Sunep Imchen, MICTC Wokha counsellor Robin Ezung and LBCA ex-executive secretary Rev NT Murry.
Seminar director of the programme were LBCA missionary Rev. Y Paukathung Tsopoe, LBCA executive secretary Reverend Nyan Lotha and praise and worship team was led by Chumreno and Eyingthung.
The programme also followed interactive session. LBCA staffs, mission centre, Church members, Vankhosang Baptist church members, Witter Theological College faculty, staffs and students attended the programme.
