LBCD youth department hosts ‘Coffee November’

Lotha Baptist Church Dimapur’s (LBCD) Youth Department hosted “Coffee November,” featuring guest artiste Tali Angh and his team on Sunday at LBCD Compound, Churches Colony Dimapur. The event showcased the talents of Lotha artistes, providing a platform for budding and professional musicians.


Among the highlighted talents was 16-year-old Sungjanbeni Ezung, a piano student at Mountain Music Academy, dedicating her journey to God. Federick Odyuo, a Grade 12 student at DPS Dimapur and tenor with the Nagaland Chamber Choir, achieved Grade 5 distinction at age 17 and garnered international recognition at the World Choir Olympics in South Korea.


Meribeni Patton, a music teacher with Grade 8 vocals and distinctions in singing, contributed to both formal and informal programmes. The eight-year-old Senthan Pearl Ezung showcased remarkable musical prowess, defying her age with impressive notes.
Guest artiste Tali Angh, a visionary worship leader and recipient of the Governor’s award, initiated the Love Sound Movement during the 2020 lockdown. He founded PRISM INDIA, fostering a vibrant community of creatives focused on love, trust, friendship, and worship of the living God.


Associate pastor LBCD, Benlanthung Yanthan, invoked God’s blessings, while youth director, Longshithung Patton delivered greetings. Music secretary of the youth department LBCD, Elithung Lotha, proposed a vote of thanks which was hosted by Pichano Mozhui and Rhonbemo Humtsoe.


The annual event not only celebrated music but also provided a platform for diverse talents within the Lotha Baptist Church Dimapur community, emphasizing faith, creativity, and collaboration.
