Literary Club and Cultural Club of Modern Institute of Teacher Education (MITE) Kohima organised “Literary Day” under the theme, “WABiSABi” (The discover of beauty within the imperfections of life and art) on November 7.
A press release by the college informed that the “Literary Day” aimed to provide platform for student teachers to showcase their different creative abilities and to appreciate different creative works of art.
MITE said the programme incorporated different activities and competitions such as poetry recitation, quartet, turncoat, folk song, art gallery, essay writing and costume show. Student-teacher, Keviphrünuo Khezhie highlighted the gathering on the theme, and that programme concluded with the distribution of prizes and certificates to the winners.
