The newly formed Lions Club of Dimapur Elite organised a tree plantation drive on August 10 outside the Lions Club premises at Forest Colony, Dimapur, as part of its environmental sustainability initiative.
The programme was graced by District Governor (DG) Lion Lalit Kothari, First Vice District Governor (FVDG) Lion Neena Dutta, Second Vice District Governor (VDG II) Lion Shankar Routh, GST Coordinator Lion Neeta Agarwal, and other cabinet dignitaries.
Led by chairperson Lion Shweta Mundhra, the drive was conducted in line with the Lions’ global motto, “We Serve.” The initiative aimed to promote ecological awareness and community responsibility.
The club’s leadership includes president Lion Meena Sethi, secretary Lion Prernaa Maheswarri, and treasurer Lion Sakchi Jain, who expressed their commitment to service and social welfare through ongoing community projects.
