LCD Elite extends flood relief to Mon

DIMAPUR: Lions Club of Dimapur Elite has expressed solidarity with flood affected communities in Mon district and extended support through the collection and dispatch of essential relief materials.
According to a press release, the relief items were mobilised through contributions from club members and supporters. The consignment included cartons of clothes, hygiene and first aid kits, stationery, sanitary pads, biscuits, cooking oil, steel utensils, bottles, containers, mosquito nets, bed sheets, atta, rice, buckets, school bags and other essentials.
The materials were handed over and dispatched in the presence of president Ritika Jain, secretary Sakshi Binaykia, Project Chairperson Vaidika Jain, and chairman Flood Relief P.K. Jain. The items were received on behalf of Mon district by Jeange.
The club stated that the initiative was aimed at extending timely assistance to affected families and reaffirmed its commitment to humanitarian service and community support.
