LCD Elite hosts financial literacy & entrepreneurship awareness program

As part of the One District One Activity – ‘Care For Her’ initiative, the Lions Club of Dimapur (LCD) Elite organized an awareness program on financial literacy cum entrepreneurship on March 27 at Pranab College.
The session, titled “Work & Wealth: Building Financial Independence,” was designed to promote financial awareness and entrepreneurial thinking, particularly among young women. The program was organized under the leadership of president Meena Sethi and project chairperson Maya Jain.
A press release by PRO & editor Sakshi Jain Binaykia stated that the session was conducted by Addwell Wealth, co-founder & director, Nischay Jain, along with Addwell Wealth, Nagaland, Associate Partner, Komal Jain. They shared insights on financial planning, wealth creation, and entrepreneurship, making the session engaging and informative.
The session focused on empowering participants with practical knowledge, on managing personal finances with discipline and confidence, understand the fundamentals of saving and basic investments, explore opportunities for entrepreneurship and income generation, and build sustainable financial independence for themselves and their families.
An interactive session was also conducted. Over 200 students, teachers, club members, and college management participated in the programme. The programme was graced by the presence of the principal, vice principal, and the coordinator of IQAC, adding significance to the event.
