LCD extends flood relief to Mon, Longleng, Tuensang

DIMAPUR: Lions Club of Dimapur, District 322D, has extended relief assistance to families affected by recent floods and landslides in Mon, Longleng and Tuensang districts.
According to the club, the relief materials were provided with financial support from the Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) and implemented under the leadership of Dr. Neena Dutta and chairmanship of P.K. Jain. In Mon, the materials were distributed through the Konyak Union, while in Longleng and Tuensang they were routed through the respective Deputy Commissioners.
The relief package included essential food items and daily necessities such as rice, dal, edible oil, soybean, biscuits, chocolates, bedsheets, mosquito nets, salt, potatoes, onions and milk.
The club stated that the initiative was aimed at providing immediate assistance to families affected by the calamity. It also expressed solidarity with those impacted and prayed for their safety, strength and speedy recovery.
Reaffirming its commitment to humanitarian service, the Lions Club of Dimapur said it would continue supporting communities during times of crisis.
