Longleng District Legal Services Authority (LDLSA) along with Yingli College authority, faculty members conducted a college level essay competition on fundamental rights & duties at the Yingli Govt. College, Longleng on August 10.
Chief Judicial Magistrate and secretary of Longleng District Legal Services Authority, Victo Sema apprised the students of Yingli college on the salient features of various Rights & Duties enshrined in the constitution. Victo also apprised on the need to enforce the Right to Education which was a fundamental right.
The winners of the essay competition would be adjudged and also awarded certificates along with cash prize in time to come.
The essay competition is part of the Legal Services Activities program set by the National Legal Services Authority (Central Authority) with the objective to create and spread Legal Awareness targeting the future generations at School and college levels.
