In a bid to elevate the advertising landscape in the state, administrator, Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC), W Manpai Phom, on Saturday, inaugurated the Kina Advertising Agency LED Advertisement billboard at Clock Tower.
Delivering a brief message at the inaugural programme, Phom expressed optimism about this innovative project, highlighting its novelty in Dimapur.
Emphasizing its role as a paid initiative for DMC, he underscored the town’s potential growth in this domain and encouraged local entrepreneurs to participate and the opportunity of the visual advertisement.
Further, on the memorandum of understanding, he stated that the governing condition of the LED advertisement will be taken and updated. He later urged entrepreneurs from various sectors to utilize this platform for sustainable development, promoting both economic gain and gradual progress for the state.
Delivering the vote of thanks and shedding light on the LED advertisement billboard, director, Kina advertising Agency, Kiniholi Jakha, highlighted the global technological shift towards digital advertising, and emphasized the compelling nature of LED billboards, understanding its ability to captivate minds and stimulate interest through fleeting visuals.
Being positioned on the Clock Tower, often regarded as the heart of Dimapur, Jakha emphasized its dual role, both as a promotional platform for local businesses, events, and community initiatives, as well as an aesthetic enhancement for the city. Further acknowledging Dimapur as the business hub of the state, she urged local entrepreneurs and businesses to leverage the services for an impactful reach.
Dwelling on the tariffs, she said in addition to monthly packages, the agency will be providing services for one-day celebrations, such as birthdays, anniversaries, product launches, and proposals. Earlier, the programme was chaired by AGS, Team Better Dimapur, Adrian Mahung, and invocation and dedicatory prayer by pastor, Thilixu Village Baptist Church, Dr Rev Hokheto Chophy.
