Leriechazou Panchayat flays Nov 30 murder

Leriechazou Panchayat Kohima has condemned the murder of Thungchibemo Humtsoe, hailing from Lakhuti village, Wokha, and a bonafide resident of the colony on November 30.
In a press note, the panchayat chairman Neizongulie Suohu and general secretary Khotuo Solo said that one Seketol Kiso of Kidima village allegedly murdered Thungchibemo on November 30, 2022 evening.
Terming it as senseless act on the part of the perpetrator, the panchayat said it was appalled by the incident as the colony residents had been living peacefully.
The panchayat vowed that it would remain steadfast in striving to maintain law and order for the security of its members and also ensure that such barbaric action was not committed again in the future.
Meanwhile, the panchayat thanked the personnel of South Police Station, Kohima, led by OC for the timely intervention and taking stock of the whole situation
While urging the concern authority to deliver rightful justice at the earliest, the panchayat also said it would initiate own course of action if they failed to do so.
