LFI College holds first annual college week

Livingstone Foundation International College organised it first annual college week from December 6 to 9 under the theme “Exuberance: Celebrating Talents and Culture”.
During day-3, various literary competitions were organised with artistic director, founder, Hill Theatre Nagaland, Bendang Walling, as the guest speaker for the introductory session. He addressed on the importance of exhibiting and preserving one’s identity by reconciling with bygone indigenous folklore through means of media and art forms. Various competitions of the day included mini theatre, dance, spoken words and other.
The last day of the college week culminated with the cultural day with editor, Tir Yimyim, K. Temjen Jamir, as the special guest. He spoke on culture and how it is evolving and progressing every day. The day was filled with indigenous games, Sumi folk song and a short skit on the “Origin of Axone” by the Drama Club of the college. The weeklong event was participated by all students with ‘yellow house’ emerging as the overall champion.
