Red Ribbon Club (RRC), of Livingstone Foundation International College (LFIC), observed mental health awareness program on October 19, under the theme “Be kind to your Mind.” With Psychotherapist from Eden Medical Centre Linoto Assumi as the guest of honor.
A press release from LFIC informed that the objective of the programme was to shed light on the factors leading to slow, traumatic effects on our mental health and offered alternative ways to address such trauma.
Speaking at the programme, Assumi emphasized the significant influence of the environment on mental health and posed the thought-provoking question, “Are you a virus, or a cure?”
The program was hosted by B.A 3rd semester student Kevin, invocation by Ingauringle from the History Department, presentation of college anthem by the Evangelical Union, LFIC, Academic Dean Sashirenla Mollier welcomed the gatherings, B.A 3rd semester Thejavor presented special number and vote of thanks by Nodal Officer RRC LFIC Dipika Agarwal.
B.A 5th semester Tiaienla Amri and B.COM 3rd semester Ringthar Langthasa secured the 1st and 2nd positions, respectively, in the Poster Making Competition and B.A 3rd semester Lemtsa Thuvuri emerged as the winner of the Slogan Writing Competition.
