LHW-RH to impose 12 hrs NH-2 total bandh on Oct 7

Lotha Hoho Wokha (LHW) and Rengma Hoho (RH) have called for total bandh of NH-2 within the two sectors of Tseminyu and Wokha, on October 7, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
District administration, police and medical services, apart from the Army have been exempted from the purview of the bandh, they said.
Informing this in a joint statement, Lotha Hoho Wokha chairman Mhao Humtsoe and Rengma Hoho  president Kenyuseng Tep said that the bandh has been called to protest against the inaction of the National Highway Authorities for the works within Tseminyu and Wokha sectors.
The two leaders said: “people have waited for too long, the evidences of total neglect of the NH 2, under Tseminyu and Wokha sectors, are too glaring, too obvious, seen by too many road users, too many vehicles unduly damaged, the people have suffered for too long because of the lackadaisical attitude of the NH Authorities of Nagaland”.
