Liangmaipui Baudi flays captivity of six Nagas

DIMAPUR: Liangmaipui Baudi Nagaland has strongly condemned the prolonged illegal captivity of six innocent Liangmai Naga men by Kuki militants in Manipur.
In a press statement issued by president Thunbulie Newmai and secretary Witingthuiliu Nring, the organisation described the abduction of villagers from Konsaram as barbaric and inhumane, and also denounced the murder of three Thadou church workers.
Criticising the Manipur State Government for failing to rescue the abducted individuals and protect innocent lives, Liangmaipui Baudi termed the situation unacceptable and deeply condemnable. It demanded the immediate, unconditional and safe release of all persons held captive to prevent further escalation of the volatile situation.
The organisation emphasised that justice, humanity and peaceful coexistence must prevail, and called for collective responsibility to safeguard lives and restore peace.
