Liangmaipui Baudi Nagaland elects new team

The Liangmaipui Baudi Nagaland (LBN) held its general session-cum-election at the Tening Village Council Hall, bringing together members and community leaders in a spirit of unity and progress.
The session elected a new team of office bearers for the upcoming term, with Thunbuile Newmaai (Tepun) as president and Witingthuiliu Nring (Jalukie ‘B’) as general secretary, along with 22 other members.
Hosted by the Tening Village Women Society, the programme witnessed active participation from representatives across the region. The session focused on reviewing the organisation’s activities and strengthening its future initiatives.
The event was graced by security officer at the Police Headquarters, Kohima, Y Alongla Sangtam. In her address, she highlighted the importance of women’s leadership, community cohesion, and proactive participation in social development.
