Library-cum-multi-utility hall dedicated at WGC Mon

DIMAPUR

The Konyak Students’ Union (KSU) organized the dedication programme of the newly constructed Library-cum-Multi-Utility Hall at Wangkhao Government College, Mon, on September 4.
Principal Dr. Tialila and Deputy Commissioner Mon, Wennyei, delivered keynote speeches, commending the Union’s commitment to academic advancement and stressing the importance of quality educational infrastructure in the district. A dedicatory prayer was offered by district chaplain, Rev. Yeangphong Konyak, followed by a benediction led by the congregation.
In his welcome address, general secretary of KSU, A. Pangnan, highlighted the collective vision and efforts behind the project. Former KSU president T. Noklem provided a brief overview of the initiative’s background and significance.
The event was chaired by education secretary of KSU, Yeihtai Konyak. The programme began with an invocation prayer led by pastor of Papong Fellowship, Ahat.
The KSU expressed sincere gratitude to Minister of Higher Education, Government of Nagaland, Temjen Imna Along, for his continued support and encouragement. The newly dedicated facility is expected to serve as a vital space for learning, research, and community engagement, marking a significant milestone for the college.
