First ever event, “Explosion”, a project under the banner of the annual event called “Extreme”, an initiative of the God’s Anointed New Generation (GANG), Lighthouse Church, Dimapur, is scheduled to be held on October 6 and 7, at the church premises.
Announcing this in a press conference held on Friday, at Cafe Leon, Hillview Colony, DC Court, Dimapur, Lighthouse Church worship pastor Imtirenla Sayer informed that ‘Explosion’ is a dynamic project within GANG’s annual youth event- “Extreme”, committed to engaging and connecting with youth, while “Explosion” aims to ignite a journey embracing Godly values. First day event will commence from 1 p.m. onwards while the second day event will be held from 8:30 a.m.
The event will offer range of engaging activities, heartfelt discussions and music, she added. GANG also propelled to empowering the youth and fostering a community anchored in the truth, positivity, growth and meaningful connections.
The project aims to reach out to the college students and help, support and empower each one as an individual and also as a generation, by creating a space for them to discover their true identity, find rest and explore the endless possibilities they have been created for. The event will include immersive worship, live gospel music, expert-led panel discussion on contemporary topics, a vibrant battle of bands and a range of wholesome activities.
Worship leader Yanger Imchen mentioned that the event will include participation of students from Dimapur and Chumoukedima. He said that the team has approached more than 20 colleges for the participation in the event. The event will also be presenting battle of the bands for college students, the registration will be free of cost.
