Sharing her experience, Lily described the championship as highly competitive, stating that some of the country’s best athletes showcased their physiques at the event. She said balancing training, diet and professional commitments as a fitness trainer had been challenging, particularly while recovering from a knee injury that had sidelined her training for several months.

Looking ahead, Lily said she was preparing to represent both Nagaland and India at an international championship scheduled for the first week of July and was aiming to improve upon her performance on the international stage. She also expressed her ambition to compete at the World Championship later this year, subject to the availability of financial support and resources.
Although Kenny Soru and Pamshang did not secure podium finishes in their respective categories, their participation at one of the country’s premier physique championships reflected the growing standard and potential of bodybuilding and physique sports in Nagaland.
The Nagaland Bodybuilding and Fitness Association congratulated all three athletes for their dedication, discipline and commitment in representing the state at the national level and wished them continued success in their future endeavours.
