Newly formed Lions Club of Dimapur Elite officially commenced its journey of service under Lions International banner, with two projects aimed at community welfare.
A press release by the Club stated that the first initiative was an umbrella distribution drive, with the club providing Lions-branded umbrellas to underprivileged, offering comfort against harsh weather.
The second project was the commemoration of Doctor’s Day, by honouring one of the town’s healthcare heroes with gratitude and small token of appreciation.
The projects were graced by presence of First Vice District Governor, Lion Neena Dutta, GST Coordinator, Lion Neeta Agarwal, and Region Chairperson, Lion Sumita Sharma.
The release further added that the leadership of the club includes Charter President, Lion Meena Sethi, Charter Secretary, Lion Prernaa Maheswarri, and Charter Treasurer, Lion Sakchi Jain.
