LJP backs ENPO demand for separate statehood

Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) Nagaland has extended support to Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organisation (ENPO) demand for a separate state.
In a press note, state LJP (RV) president Alivn Solo said that ever since, Nagaland attained Statehood, the Eastern Nagas had been neglected and they were yet to see development activities in the area. The party alleged that the area had been deliberately deprived, despite promises made by subsequent governments.
LJP (RV) said it strongly supported the strong affirmation of 20 legislators, tribal bodies and other organizations to note take part in any election until their demand for a Separate state of ‘Frontier Nagaland’ was met.
The pray expressed hope that the aspirations of the people would be restored and their demand for Frontier Nagaland State fulfilled at the earliest.
