LMRSU holds first felicitation programme

 Lotha Middle Range Students’ Union (LMRSU) held its first felicitation programme at Sanis community hall, Wokha on May 27 chaired by president of Mekokla Students’ Union (MSU) Lijanbeni Kikon. 

A press release from editorial board LMRSU, Chonbenthung B. Mozhui and Rhonbeni Patton stated that, Avelu Rukho ADC Sanis enlightened that “excellence is not reaching at the top but giving out the best we can”, whereby she also encouraged the students to expose their talents and perform their best. 

LMRSU president Er. Pipen Jungio congratulated all the successful HSLC and HSSLC students in his welcome address. He also congratulated all the toppers, especially Eric Yanthan who scored 92.00% in the HSSLC examination science stream from middle range. He highlighted the students enrolled, appeared and the pass percentage of students in the government schools within the middle range. 

Ashanthung general secretary, Lotha Students’ Union (LSU) encouraged the LMRSU officials to keep a check on the government schools within the middle range and find out where the schools were lagging behind.

Earlier, invocation was offered by pastor Sunglup VBC, Nchumbemo Kithan, blessing prayer for the students by B.Y Lotha pastor STBC. Special number was presented by Sojano Tsopoe in honor of Eric Yanthan. Leonard Murry general secy LMRSU pronounced the vote of thanks and benediction prayer was delivered by E. Khodao Mozhui pastor HBCST.
