Power department (Mokokchung transmission division) has informed that the power supply to Mon district headquarters and surrounding areas will be disrupted from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 2:30 to 5 p.m. daily till June 9 owing to partial completion of the ongoing intensive jungle clearance works along 66kV Nagnimora-Tizit Transmission line. This was necessitated as a measure to ensure stable power supply to Mon district before the onset of monsoon, the division said, while urging consumers to bear with the inconvenience.
