Lok Bhavan, Nagaland, will join the rest of the world in observing Earth Hour 2026 on March 28. A worldwide movement organized by World Wide Fund for Nature aimed at raising awareness on climate change, energy conservation, and environmental sustainability.
In a press release by PRO, Lok Bhavan stated that on March 28, from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM, non-essential lights and electrical appliances at Lok Bhavan will be switched off as a symbolic gesture of commitment to protecting the environment. Governor of Nagaland has encouraged the citizens of Nagaland to extend their cooperation and called upon all residents to participate actively by switching off non-essential lights, reducing energy consumption, and spreading awareness about environmental conservation across Nagaland. Therefore, Citizens are encouraged to observe Earth Hour in a spirit of unity and responsibility and to adopt energy-saving practices that contribute to environmental conservation.
