Longleng District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting for the month of September was held on September 8 under the chairmanship of deputy commissioner & vice chairman DPDB, M. Shayung Phom in the office DPDB hall of the DC.
According to a DIPR report, agenda for establishment of departments such as transport, employment and home guards were discussed and deliberated at length.
The house decided to pursue the matter and put up for government approval to redress grievances faced by the public.
Bautung Government Higher Secondary School principal highlighted infrastructure grievance faced by the school and appealed to the members to extend full cooperation and assistance for all round development of the institution.
The DC reviewed the last meeting minutes and constitution of committee for district award and informed that 13 deserving officers, villages and individuals were awarded with district award during the 75th Independence Day celebration.
Meanwhile, DPO, LRD Kughalu Chishi presented the activities and development implemented by land resources department in the district during 2020 through PowerPoint.
Earlier, the DC also welcomed new members, superintendent of police Longleng Kuhevi Sema and DFO Longleng Suviu.
