Longleng to host 35th Nagaland open taekwondo championship

The Longleng District Taekwondo Association (LDTA) will be hosting the 35th Nagaland State Open Taekwondo Championship-cum-under 14 catch them young tournament at multi-purpose Indoor Stadium, Longleng from July 29 – 31. The tournament will be organised by Nagaland Taekwondo Association in collaboration with department of Youth Resources and Sports, Government of Nagaland.
In a press release issued by LDTA president Longshen Phom and organising committee convenor L T Hendok Phom informed that the preparations are in full swing. Various sub committees are formed to coordinate and manage the implementation of the tournament’s preparation.
Altogether, 15 districts will be participating along with another two teams from NP & DYRS. Total of 17 teams.
The special guest for the inaugural ceremony will be Advisor for Information Technology & Communication, Economics & Statistics, Evaluation, H. Sethrongkyu Sangtam, MLA and guest of honour will be Deputy Commissioner Longleng, W. Manpai Phom.
The valedictory guest will be Director Youth Resources & Sports, Government of Nagaland, Kethosituo Sekhose.
