Lotha to Kyong

After several discussions and researches into the coinage of its name ‘Lotha’ the Lotha Hoho has finally resolved to change the same into “Kyong” with immediate effect stating that it was imported by the Britishers for their administrative conveniences. Informing this through a joint press release, the Hoho chairman, Nyanbemo Ngullie and general secretary, Yansathung Jami said that the Lotha Hoho shall also henceforth be called “Kyong Hoho” in all official and private matters. It informed its people to change their titles accordingly if they so desires and also urged the younger generation to adopt Kyong in future. The house also resolved to move the state government for recognition of the change in nomenclature, it added.
