Lotsu-Pyangsa bazaar inaugurated

In a significant move to boost local trade and economic activities, a new weekly bazaar, was inaugurated at Pyangsa Welcome Gate on Saturday. The weekly bazaar will provide platform to local farmers especially Lostu circle comprising of seven villages.


The bazaar was dedicated by Pyangsa Baptist Church pastor, A Lisumo. The event witnessed the participation of local officials, community leaders, and residents to celebrate the initiative aimed at promoting rural entrepreneurship and strengthening the local economy.


The newly introduced bazaar will provide a platform to local farmers, artisans, and traders to sell their products, ensuring better market access for agricultural produce, handicrafts, and daily essentials.


The initiative is expected to encourage self-sufficiency and enhance economic opportunities for the people of Lotsu Circle and surrounding areas.
The weekly bazaar is set to be a regular affair, drawing traders and consumers from various parts of the Sanis sub-division and beyond.


Short speeches were delivered by Bhandari town representative Mhonyani Lotha and Pyangsa village council chairman Renbemo Ovung. The programme was chaired by LMRVCC (union) and Lotsu village council chairman R Thechamo Ovung, invocation by Pyangsa Baptist church assistant pastor Yanbemo and benediction by RC Meribemo (Daniel).
