Land Owners’ Union (LOU), Doyang Hydro Electric Project (DHEP), on Friday constituted a new Election Commission (EC) team headed by Yanthungo Kikon as election commissioner, Bichamo Yanthan as member secretary, and Hayithung Odyuo as member of the commission.
In a press note, seasonal secretary, Thungdemo Kithan reported that the meeting was held in pursuance of the DC Wokha’s notification regarding constitution of Election Commission for the LOU. According to LOU, the house during the meeting held at NRC Hall, unanimously welcomed the DC’s notification.
Further, the house also resolved that the newly constituted EC shall undertake election of a new LOU president within the stipulated time as notified by DC Wokha.
