Taking serious note of “less than satisfactory attendance” in several departments in the Nagaland Civil Secretariat, the Home department has decided to conduct surprise checking in all departments/branches in the Secretariat during office hours (9.30 am to 4 pm).
It said that disciplinary proceedings would be initiated against the defaulting officials.
‘No Work No Pay’ shall be imposed on officers and staffs found to be absent without sanctioned leave, the department said.
