Demonstrating an unwavering commitment to welfare of families of defence persons, local military authorities, in collaboration with the Indian Oil Company Ltd (IOCL) have undertaken an LPG Safety Awareness Week from (March 18-23) at Rangapahar Military Station, Dimapur. This noble initiative was aimed at educating the families on crucial aspects of LPG.
Under the aegis of the LPG Safety Awareness Week, a lecture-cum-demonstration was organised at Manekshaw Auditorium, Rangapahar Military Station Dimapur, on March 18 wherein a team from IOCL educated the audience with respect to LPG – general information, safety precautions, Dos & Don’ts, thus fostering awareness about the safe usage of LPG in their day to day lives.
This was followed by flagging off an LPG Repair Drive wherein a dedicated team will conduct a door-to-door survey-cum-repair of LPG appliances of all residents of Rangapahar Military Station.
This noble initiative, organised by the local military authorities in collaboration with IOCL will undoubtedly benefit the residents of Rangapahar Military Station and spread awareness about LPG safety and security, which is very important for day to day life.
