LRD conducts cleanliness drive in Peren

Land Resource department (LRD) in keeping “Swachh Hi Seva” organised a cleanliness drive from September 25 to 28, covering 14 villages of Gaili, Mhainamtsi, Nsenlo, Ikiesingram, Nkio- B, Pellhang, Tening, Old Tesen, New Tesen, Jalukie B, Jalukieram, Samzuiram, Songlhuh and Dungki under Peren district. According to LRD, avenue and ornamental trees were planted in all the villages to keep the surrounding area clean and beautiful. Part of the activities also included white washing of schools, marketing sheds, community hall, guest house, etc. while health talk on “personal hygiene and sanitation” was delivered to the students.
