Land Resources Department (LRD) district project officer (DPO) Mokokchung has reacted to the claims of two RTI activists that the department on its own established a new village name ‘Tsudiyim’ under Mokokchung district and provided huge amount of money by enlisting beneficiaries name randomly.
In a rejoinder, DPO Mokokchung Dr Sashiyangba clarified that “Tsudiyim” was not a village, but the name of a micro-watershed bearing code No. 3B3D1d2d, which was taken up under the watershed programme. DPO stated that the project has been completed and its works have been officially closed as per the closure protocol of the programme.
