DIMAPUR, JUL 3 (NPN): The Lt. Sukhavi Achumi Open Memorial Chess Championship 2026 will be held from July 9 to 11 at Hotel Acacia, Dimapur. Organized under the Swiss league system, the tournament will feature seven rounds of competitive play.
The championship carries a total prize pool of Rs. 1 lakh, making it one of the notable chess events in the region. Registration fees have been set at Rs. 1000 for the open category and Rs. 500 for participants in the Under-14 category and below.
