LUD refutes allegations against Star Cargo Transport Agency

Lokobomi Union Dimapur (LUD) has rejected the allegations made by NSCN-K (Khango) against Nitovi Aye, owner of Star Cargo Transport Agency, on his involvement in collecting illegal taxes on behalf of Naga National Political Groups.

In a press release, Lokobomi Union Dimapur chairman, Hetoi Chishi and secretary Hukato Chishi claimed that Aye known for “his simple lifestyle and unblemished reputation”, was as a dynamic entrepreneur committed to serving the community.

LUD said the claims linking him to illegal tax collections were “baseless and seemingly aimed at maligning the reputation of the Star Cargo Transport Agency”.
The union therefore appealed to the top leaders of NSCN (Khango) to conduct a thorough investigation before making public allegations.

Lokobomi Union Dimapur also termed NSCN (Khango) group’s statement as a direct threat to “Aye’s life and warned of holding the group accountable for any harm inflicted upon him or his business”.
The union further urged the Naga National Workers to prioritize in resolving the long-standing Indo-Naga political issues instead of creating disturbances through illegal taxation.

They also appealed to law enforcement agencies to take strict action against those involved in such practices, ensuring the safety of the business community in Dimapur.
