LYH justifies stand on T.R. Zelaing resignation

Lotha Youth Hoho (LYH) has demanded that the T.R. Zeliang should resign as chief minister as under his leadership corruption has become rampant and his activities were against the wishes of the people.
Justifying its stand, the LYH media cell brought to light some of the reasons, on why T.R Zeliang should step down.
The reasons, according to LYH, was compete failure of state machinery and rule of lawlessness in the state, after  DAN government led by T.R. Zeliang decided to implement Nagaland Municipal Act 2001 and to conduct ULB election with 33 % women reservation, which resulted in the loss of three precious lives and injuring several others.
Others glaring examples were case of fuel adulteration and misuse of PDS under his leadership, possession of a doubtful and controversial educational degree as a leader, inclusion of Rongmei tribe as Nagas of Nagaland, construction and inauguration of Rani Gaidinliu Memorial Library at Kohima despite staunch oppositions from various stake holders.
Delayed in payment of scholarships to the students, non-payment of salaries to teachers and used of water cannon on the teachers instead of paying their due salaries were also highlighted by LHY to substantiate their stand.
Another reasons, LYH stand was that DAN government led by T. R. Zeliang imposed CrPC 144 at Tssori Champang Oil Fields under Wokha Zone on July 21, 2014, to launch the controversial MOGPL Company for extraction of P&NG against the rights and wishes of the people, wilful violation of the Act of NLA made in 1990 on Ownership and Transfer of Land and its resources while framing NP&NG rules and regulations 2012 and the “blind initiative” taken by DAN government on Nagaland Special Development Zone (NSDZ).
