First departmental review meeting of Municipal Affairs Department (MAD) after the commissioner & secretary, Menukhol John and joint secretary K Kevin Zehol took charge, was held on August 3 at the conference hall of the directorate of Municipal Affairs, Nagaland, Kohima.
According to DIPR report, issues pertaining to the department were discussed and positive inputs were given by the commissioner & secretary.
The commissioner and secretary intended to hold meeting with all the administrators of the respective ULBs at an early date to have better understanding, coordination and create transparent and friendly working environment.
He stressed that every employee irrespective of designation was equally important as he/she was contributing to the department with his/her service.
With two dynamic senior officers, the department has expressed confidence that Municipal Affairs would create an impact on the people.
