Director General of Police (DGP) Rupin Sharma launched the “Made in Nagaland “ application on Wednesday at the Nagaland Police Headquarter, Kohima.
The app was an initiative of the Nagaland Police to fight against drugs and extortion in the state. The app will help the general public to give information on drugs and extortion without visiting the police station.
Anonymous complaints can be given and information shared will be secured and particulars of the informant/complainant will be kept secret and confidential.
Provision to contact Nagaland Police by whatsapp will also be available in app as well as website and through Facebook and Twitter.
