Sub-Divisional Officer (C) Hq, Chumoukedima, Chumbenthung Murry, in a circular, has informed that ‘Mahila Jan Sunwai’ (public hearings) for Chumoukedima district will be held on March 10, at 10am in the Conference Hall of the DC, Chumoukedima. The Mahila Jan Sunwai will be chaired by Kekhrienuo Meyase, member, Nagaland State Commission for Women. Mahila Jan Sunwai is a nationwide, district-level public hearing initiative organized by the NCW to provide a direct, accessible platform for women to report grievances such as domestic violence, harassment, and trafficking. During the hearing, pending complaints will be taken along with walk-in complaints.
