Maintain Kma-Chakhabama road, demands NPCC

Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) president K. Therie has alleged that the Kohima-Chakhabama Road, which leads to Zuneboto, Phek and Kiphire districts, has been “deliberately” abandoned after NPF-led BJP-DAN government came to power. In a press release, NPCC president K. Therie warned that if the responsible/accountable departments do not act within 30 days, the party would forced to take its own course of action.
He said it was an insult to the elected members and the people from Zuneboto, Phek and Kiphire districts. Therie said the road, being used since the British rule, was one of the most economically important roads. The negligence was not only an insult to the people but was an act of economic offence against the people, he said,
Though money has been  given for maintenance of the road, Therie alleged that it has been misused.
