An employee of Global Ceramic Pvt. Ltd., located at the ground floor of Baliram Hariram Building Tower Building along Tajen Ao road allegedly shot himself with a .32 licensed pistol on Tuesday at around 9.55 a.m.
DCP (Crime) & PRO Dimapur police said information was received from one Rajesh Gupta, manager of Global Ceramic Pvt. Ltd. stating that a staff identified as Sandeep Kumar Pandey, had committed suicide. PRO said that the police team found the deceased with a bullet injury on his forehead and a .32 pistol held on his chest. Police combed the spot and collected evidences which were sent to FSL Guwahati. PRO said a case of “an unnatural death” was registered at West PS and investigation was on.
